As young people, we loved the central location, the helpful host, and the convenience of having air conditioning, a dishwasher. The kitchen facilities were great too!
Felt safe walking at night, no complaints.

Traveling to Lisbon for a few days, Casa Portuguesa Chiado was the perfect choice. The location was superb, right in the heart of the city. The apartment was spacious and the beds were great, ensuring a comfortable stay. It was impeccably clean and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and clothes washer. Ricardo, our host, was so kind and easy to reach, providing us with valuable tips. Having air conditioning was a bonus and the amenities, like the dishwasher and washing machine, made our stay even more convenient.
Totally recommend this hotel.

A lovely apartment with a fancy mix of modern and historic vibe. Great views and free WiFi. The stairs were a delightful surprise, a mini workout to work off those pastéis de nata.
Who needs a lift anyway? Climbing four flights of stairs with my Louis Vuitton luggage was such a breeze.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of Casa Portuguesa Chiado. The hotel's attention to detail in its decoration really made me feel like I was staying in a traditional Portuguese home. The general areas, such as the lobby and common spaces, were beautifully designed and comfortable for seniors like me. Additionally, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent. The staff made sure that there were no obstacles for me to navigate, and I appreciated their consideration.
I would have appreciated if the hotel had offered more senior-friendly activities or services. It would have been nice to have some options specifically tailored to older guests, such as organized tours or activities that catered to our needs.

I recently stayed at a charming accommodation in the heart of Lisbon. The location was superb, with numerous cafes, bars, and restaurants just a stone's throw away. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and bright, even better than what I had seen in the pictures. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed, including a dishwasher and clothes washer. The host, Ricardo, was incredibly accommodating and informative, making sure I had a great stay. I would definitely choose this place again on my future visits. I highly recommend this hotel.
It's important to note that the apartment is located on the fourth floor with no elevator, so it might be challenging for those carrying heavy luggage. Additionally, the shower space is a bit tight, so it may be more suitable for leaner travelers.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city. We were able to easily explore all the key attractions and landmarks without having to travel far. the hotel provided us with large and clean facilities, which was a major plus.
There were a few negative aspects to our stay. there was no air conditioning in the hotel, and during our Christmas stay, it was quite hot inside.

We really got our money's worth with a clean, comfortable, and spacious apartment that exceeded our expectations. The location couldn't have been better, with plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants just a stone's throw away. The staff, especially Ricardo, were incredibly accommodating and informative.
The breakfast selection could have been better.

The rooms at Casa Portuguesa Chiado are like having your own cozy apartment. They have a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, perfect for cooking meals and enjoying them at your own pace. The flat-screen TV with cable channels and the comfy seating area with a sofa make it a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. The private bathroom with a shower is a convenient touch, and it's nice to have free toiletries and a hairdryer provided.
Personally, I would have liked a bit more variety in terms of entertainment options. While the flat-screen TV is nice, it would have been great to have access to some streaming services or a DVD player for a cozy movie night.

I keep coming back to this place because it's fantastic. The helpful staff gave me currency tips on my first stay. It has Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, and cookware. Plus there's a paid airport shuttle. The flat-screen TV and cots are great too. No pets or smoking allowed. Coming back for Easter.

We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom apartment located in the heart of the bustling city. the apartment was clean, comfortable, and offered easy access to all the top attractions. We loved the fact that it was right on the main road, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and even a Starbucks nearby. Whenever we needed transportation, taxis were readily available.
The lack of air conditioning made the apartment quite hot, especially during the scorching temperatures of our visit. Opening the windows for fresh air only invited unbearable street noise during the night.
